Nex is a dynamic award-winning architecture and urban design studio working on special projects in culture, leisure, learning and transport. Our vision is to better connect architecture to the city and create buildings that are platforms for interaction by focusing on context, people, and atmosphere.

We have a vacancy for a talented candidate to become a key member of our friendly team in our central London studio. We are looking for an experienced project architect to make a long-term commitment and quickly grow into a business leadership role as we expand.

 We want the successful candidate to have the following attitude and experience:

—   A talented creative designer who wants to push boundaries.
—   A desire to contribute to building team and organisational culture – developing people, processes and standards.
—   An interest in technology and how it can disrupt current architectural practice.
—   At least 4 years post Part III professional experience running projects from concept to tender and construction stages in the UK.
—   A strong problem solver – Technically minded and meticulous, who enjoys working with detail and has a good knowledge of UK                       regulations.
—   Excellent organisational and time management skills.
—   Strong sense of initiative. Able to work well under pressure and comfortable working autonomously.
—   Competent working in Revit and BIM.
—   Strong design and representation skills.
—   Excellent communication and presentation skills.
—   A patient mentor who enjoys leading and nurturing younger team members.
