Our name, Nex, comes from Nexus, meaning a focal point of connection in a group. In all our activities, we aim to be the link that coordinates partners, collaborators, and stakeholders to benefit all. We understand that this role changes throughout a project from being a leader to a listener and an enabler. We have expertise in arranging and leading various consultation activities, such as Interviews & Observation, Behavioural Mapping, Design Workshops & Charrettes, and Exhibitions & Experience Prototyping.
Our successful engagement with stakeholders is evident in our 100% record of securing planning/listed building consents and the strong community support we have generated for our projects. At the Duke of York Square, we engaged with non-technical members of the local community to address concerns about a contemporary building in a heritage context. At the RAF Museum, we led workshops with staff, the local community, and accessibility consultees to ensure the project exceeded stakeholder and Heritage Lottery Fund expectations.
