Public Realm
Our approach to designing an imaginative public realm is to look for opportunities to meaningfully connect our buildings to outdoor spaces and the wider city. This strengthens relationships with local communities, enhances identity, and increases footfall to create vibrant, successful places.
Considered design of the public realm has led us to design award-winning buildings, infrastructure, and bridges. Many of these projects have also offered the opportunity to better integrate natural ecologies and built environments by enhancing biodiversity to make our cities a little wilder. Building Design has recognised our distinctive design approach with the UK Public Realm Architect of the Year Award in 2020.
